Still Time To Save Traditional Sugar

While I have known of this issue for a while now, I was not aware that there was still a little time to prevent this outrage from happening.



Those of you who have done their homework, know the health issues from consuming genetically modified crops. And it isn't just the health issues. Monsanto's GMO crops must have their seeds purchased from them each year. Because those same crops are designed not to produce any fertile seeds. No longer can the farmers who foolishly buy into Monsanto's propoganda, reap seeds from their crops for the next years plantings. Monsanto promises that yields will be bigger and more profitable. Is that true? Ask the cotton farmers in India. Oh no, wait you can't. Over 100 committed susicide because not only did they not get the promised yields, but much less. What they did get was inferior and not profitable for sale. Many went bankrupt. Now here is another kicker. They are RoundUp resistant. Which means once those crops are sown, even once, they cannot be "undone". Who makes RoundUp? Monsanto.



Our traditional sugar beets are in dire danger! There are some who believe this is a bandwagon which should be jumped on. The candy companies and many consumers know better. There is still a little window of time left before this is made official. Let's stop this from happening!!!! Folks if you don't know of the dangers of GMO foods, I implore you to find out before it's too late!!!!! Once our traditional crops are grown, we will be left with massive starvation and with companies such as Monsanto holding the reins of power over our food supply. A food supply which will be our only choice, and unfit for humans or animals to eat.

It's free and totally painless to go sign the petition against the introduction of genetically modified sugar beets. I plan on buying up some sugar, but no way I can buy an existing supply of traditional sugar, that would last a lifetime. Then what? If this goes through, we will have no other choices. It will be use the GMO sugar or none at all. Many of us will have to elect to do without for the most part. What a horrible feeling to know what you are consuming can have dire consequences on your health.
